About Us

Welcome and thank you for visiting the Sandy Springs Woman’s Club (SSWC).  The Sandy Springs Woman’s Club is a dedicated, not-for-profit organization of women who strive to be a service to others through volunteering, fund-raising, caring, sharing, & understanding the needs of others. We support five program areas: Arts, Civic Engagement & Outreach, Education, Environment, Health & Wellness. We are made up of women of all ages who share a very simple common goal to serve and volunteer within our community.  Simply put, we believe that “Together we can make a Difference” to improve the educational, social, cultural, and physical needs of our community.

Our club is a proud member of the General Federation of Women’s Club (GFWC) headquartered in Washington D.C. and the Georgia Federation of Women’s Clubs which is located in Tallulah Falls, Georgia.  GFWC collectively has nearly 80,000 members in affiliated clubs in every state, the District of Columbia, and more than a dozen countries. GFWC members work in their own communities to support the arts, preserve natural resources, advance education, promote healthy lifestyles, encourage civic involvement, and work toward world peace and understanding.  While diverse in age, interests, and experiences, all clubwomen are united by a desire to create positive change in their communities.

Our members also belong to and enjoy meeting other club women within our State, our Southern Region and our North West District which hold bi-annual educational and leadership workshops. We learn about other nonprofit charitable organizations and how our clubs can assist with their initiatives and programs at a local level.

Since 1948 the Sandy Springs Woman’s Club continues to believe that “Together we can make a Difference” in our communities.  Our Club meets monthly to discuss the specific needs of our community and work together on our projects and programs.  Please visit our Program page to learn more about the programs and projects.

We are always looking for members to help us expand our programs and charitable outreach.  By joining our club we hope to give our members a meaningful experience by offering them volunteer opportunities to make a positive difference in their communities while connecting with others. There are many reasons why you should join a local club; the top three reasons women join our clubs are to meet new friends, to be more involved in their communities and to make a difference in the lives of others.

We meet the second Friday of each month to exchange ideas, strengthen friendships, & share club accomplishments.  Please contact us at SandySpringsWomansClub@gmail.com if you are interested in learning more.

Please visit our Upcoming Events & Activities page to see a list of upcoming meetings.
